BNP Paribas has been ranked the 3rd most valuable brand in France in 2004, reflecting the combination of a brand that is both recent and enjoys a rich history anchored in two leading names.
The brand scorecard was prepared by Challenges magazine and global brand-building and strategy consultants Interbrand. In the overall ranking the only enterprises ahead of BNP Paribas are Louis Vuitton and L’Oréal.
This makes the Group the top banking brand. The survey values the BNP Paribas brand at over 5.47 € billion.
Interbrand, a unit of the Omnicom communications group, does a similar annual survey of the best 100 global brands for “BusinessWeek” !
